Formulate treatment plans and discuss them with patients.
Treatment and Medical Care:
Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments to patients.
Perform medical procedures and surgeries when necessary.
Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Preventive Care:
Educate patients about preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices.
Administer vaccinations and provide advice on immunization schedules.
Patient Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining their conditions, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
Address patient concerns and questions with empathy and clarity.
Medical Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
Document patient visits, treatments, and test results.
Collaboration and Consultation:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Consult with colleagues on complex cases or refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Emergency Care:
Respond to medical emergencies, both within and outside of regular working hours.
Stabilize and treat patients in critical conditions.
Continuing Education:
Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatments, and technologies through ongoing education and professional development.
