Duties and Responsibilities include:
Patch Windows Linux Operating Systems
Set up Remote Access for Users
Run system software upgrades on various infrastructure solutions, including (but not limited to) Modern Networking, Modern Platforms, and CyberSecurity
Troubleshoot operational issues and work with Vendor support when needed to resolve problems
Document the lab environment, including system designs and visual diagrams
Learn as many lab systems as possible and take on more complex tasks, eventually capacity and performance for the environment.
Assist in planning and implementation of upgrades
The ability to work both individually and in a team environment in a highly collaborative manner, utilizing excellent interpersonal skills.
Produce and maintain design, installation, and configuration documentation for supported systems.
Manage user account creation and termination
Interact with internal and external customers
Required Skills:
The candidate must have skills in one or more of the following areas:
4 – 5 years of IT experience with system administration or lab buildouts
Experience with Networking products, including Cisco, Juniper, Aruba and Arista
Experience with supporting and troubleshooting issues in a lab network
Experience with documenting and editing processes and procedures
Experience with Linux or Windows system administration
Shift time:
Expected to cover USA Eastern Standard time zone
