Job Summary:
We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic, and customer-friendly Salesperson to join our gift shop team! As a frontline representative, you will assist customers in finding the perfect gifts, handle sales transactions, restock merchandise, and keep the shop looking beautiful and welcoming. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance
- Understand customer needs and suggest suitable gift items
- Handle billing, cash, and card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of shelves and displays
- Restock products and manage inventory levels
- Gift wrap items neatly and creatively as requested
- Keep track of new arrivals and promotions
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues politely
- Build rapport with regular customers and create a positive shopping experience
- Support the team during peak hours, festivals, and special events
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Friendly, polite, and helpful attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and knowledge of using POS systems
- Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- A passion for creativity, gifting, and decor is a plus!
